Kelly Izdihar Crosby is an artist living in Atlanta, Georgia. She incorporates intricate patterns and unconventional colors schemes to create art that is emotional, bold and evocative. Her art tends to focus on multiculturalism, women in Islam, stylized Arabic calligraphy and social justice. With her lifelong love of drawing and painting, she received her bachelor’s degree of art and master’s degree in arts administration in her hometown from the University of New Orleans (2002, 2007). Her work has been shown in galleries and festivals in New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago, and internationally in Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
